We are honored to be featured on the Grieving Out Loud podcast, created by journalist Angela Kennecke in memory of her beloved daughter Emily, who died of fentanyl poisoning at just 21 years old on May 16, 2018.

Angela is “grieving out loud” to break the silence surrounding substance use disorder, end the stigma, and advocate for compassionate, evidence-based treatment of this disease. Her powerful podcast offers connection, healing, and hope to anyone navigating grief.

In this episode, we share the heart behind IntoLight—how portraiture can honor lives lost, change public perception, and create space for empathy and understanding. We’re deeply grateful to Angela and Emily’s Hope for amplifying these stories and standing alongside families in their pain and purpose.
