One hundred percent comfortable in his own skin, Jodi referred to him as her “big, strong, handsome man,” who welcomed the ostracized, made everyone laugh to tears, and loved his family beyond measure.

Ended too soon When asked for words to define Jose, his mother, Wanda, and his significant other, Chelsea said; funny, energetic, loving, outgoing, caring, and empathic. Jose’s energetic and outgoing personality drew people to him, and his empathetic nature made him a beloved partner, father, son, and friend.

Create your own sunshine Chloe (or Bean/Beanie) was a beacon of warmth to all around her—an embodiment of outpouring love. She had a funny little habit she would invoke upon her loved ones: thrusting her chin into their faces and demanding a kiss, repeating the phrase between giggles, “Kiss the chin, go ahead! Kiss it!” until the second party complied.

Empathetic, accepting, generous, funny, creative Brandon’s creativity was with him from a young age. He loved to draw and design intricate creatures, and this talent would serve him well in the future. He tried numerous jobs after graduating high school, but none of them accommodated his disability. After many unsuccessful roles, Brandon played to his strengths, focusing on art.

Loving, brave, artistic, strong, wild. A flair for the creative ran in the Bettencourt family, as Jay and his younger brother both had many artistic interests. One of Jay’s first passions was photography. At sixteen, it was his weekend gig. He assisted his father, carrying bags and setting up equipment, but quickly learned to use a camera, set lighting, and create composition.

Sensitive, intelligent, wise beyond his years, caring, gentle   Michael Bump was a rare soul-gentle, kind, and caring with a depth of spirit and keen intellect. A deep-thinker, he was endlessly curious about the world and the Divine, always looking for “God’s truth.” He read endlessly, absorbing knowledge on everything from particle physics to plant life and ancient mysteries of existence. “He was a metaphysician exploring spirituality from many different perspectives,” his father said.

All the moon, all the stars  Romantic yet practical, whimsical yet disciplined, Amy was a force of nature with a personality impossible not to love. She was dynamic; a people person; a protector. She would sacrifice anything—except, of course, her bond with brother’s beloved dog Roma—to help anyone. Amy had a natural talent for making people laugh and loved doing just that.

Youthful, lovable, gentle, missed terribly Teddy was a beloved figure, both by his family and large group of friends. If you knew Teddy, you were very familiar with his infectious humor, adventurous spirit, and deep love of the outdoors. From a young age, his zest for life was apparent, particularly through his passion for hunting and fishing. His playful nature and sense of humor was evident, even as a child. At the age of four he wore a pair of cowboy boots every single day for an entire year, irrespective of the weather conditions.

Complex, intelligent, generous, kind  Dane was always very opinionated, never afraid to speak his mind, “That didn’t always go over well with some people, but I loved it about him,” his mother Regina stated. Dane was loving, generous and very funny. He loved to read and write poetry, snow and skate board, watch sports, do photography, and cook. He was over the moon when his Uncle Dane gave him a 50cc dirt bike. It was pure joy watching him ride it and bond with his uncle.

Love, kindness, caring, creative, adventurous  Charlie "Chuckles" DiGloria was a man with a heart of gold, known for his ability to make anyone smile or laugh, no matter how bad their day was going. He was a family man, deeply devoted to his loved ones, especially his nephew Jack, whom he adored. He also loved Thanksgiving and St. Patrick’s Day – mostly for the food!!

Brilliant, kind, funny, adventurous, headstrong Greg, also known as Hans, was recognized for his brilliance and headstrong nature. He had a great love for the outdoors. Whether fishing in a quiet river or hunting in the rolling hills, he found solace there. His deep-rooted passion for the New England Patriots and the Bruins mirrored his enthusiasm for everything he did. When he wasn’t exploring the great outdoors, Greg could often be found at the gym or immersed in video games, a hobby he enjoyed as much as his other pursuits.

Spiritual, Sympathetic, Compassionate, Helpful Advocate Sara Everett was blessed with a sassy sense of humor, deep spiritual understanding, and unabashed boldness in defending the underdog. Throughout her life, she displayed creativity and artistry, both in fine and performing arts, paired with a glowing smile and utter fearlessness.

She tried so hard to overcome. Jen was a force to be reckoned with–fierce, loyal, and determined. Despite struggling with insecurity and personal demons, she had a heart of gold and would do anything for those she loved. Her life was a combination of triumphs and struggles, but through it all, her love and kindness shone brightly.

Skilled carpenter, athlete, and outdoorsman Brady Gilbert, the charismatic, brave, funny, and hardworking father, uncle, and son, encouraged so many with his enduring smile and uplifted outlook. Everyone gravitated to his easy conversation skills while his leadership helped others discover their own purpose. Faith, acquired during recovery, guided him forward as gospel and songs poured from his lips and dwelled in his heart.

Altruistic, loving, kind and friendly.Well-liked by so many, Steve Gill was the epitome of companionship and fatherhood. Ever the helpful soul, he frequently came to the rescue and formed amiable bonds with all types of people. Athletic and outdoorsy, Steve never shied away from a football game, ski slope, wrestling match, pool, or track.

Empathic, intuitive, an old soul, compassionate, intelligent Eric was an empathic soul; caring and sensitive. Although introspective and shy as a child, he was a great conversationalist when drawn out from his inner turmoil. He had a discerning character, choosing friends who were kind to others and who shared his philosophy on life. He was loyal to those friends and protective of his mom.

Gift, smile, compassionate, family, love  A bright light in the lives of those who loved him, Robbie was adopted at just two weeks old by his parents, Lois and Steven. “He was the answer to our prayers when God put him in our lives,” Lois stated. “We were a perfect match with Robbie, amazingly he looks just like my husband.”

Daring Spirit and Magnetic Smile Zack Gys was a dynamo, a talented, and charismatic young man with a winning smile and huge heart. An avid sportsman and passionate competitor, he was thrilling to watch and engage with. Hockey, baseball, snowboarding, and skateboarding were his favorites.

World’s strongest gardener, beloved brother, son, and friend Jordan, affectionately known to his family as “Bud” or “J-Man, was a blue-eyed, blonde-haired boy, quiet and shy, yet playful. According to his mother, Cathy, he was the comic relief in the Haberl household.

"Trouble” With Ambition To Spare True to her Aries zodiac sign, Abbey was a trendsetter, leader, and adventurer. Spritzed with sugary sweet perfume, sporting mile-long lashes and fingernails, and brandishing a “don’t mess with me” attitude, she took the world by storm with fierce intellect and sharp wit.

Funny, kind-hearted, mechanically inclined, giving, family-oriented. Justin grew up the youngest of four siblings in a tight-knit family. From a young age, he was known for his intelligence, warm heart, a silly streak that made those around him smile, and a kindness that made people feel loved.

His boundless spirit moved mountains Intense from a young age, and sometimes a troublemaker, Keith developed into an extraordinary adult. He grew from a boy with a penchant for graffiti to a hilariously sarcastic man with an encyclopedic mind and a passion for live rock music.

Loving, brave, artistic, strong, wild Jon was the epitome of a beautiful man, both inside and out. He had a strong stature and a lovely smile and eyes, so it came as no surprise that his presence could fill a room, even if he didn’t know it.

There's No Crying in Baseball Kind, loving, funny, and sensitive, Jeff Keene embodied the ideal family man. He served his country in the Navy for ten years before joining the workforce in trades, all the while loving the great outdoors. Fishing, hunting, cooking, and camping, especially in Florida, were Jeff’s prime leisure activities.

She shone like the sun Claire was a leader, even early on. When she was just a toddler, she earned the nickname “bossy lady” from her Memere; she knew what she wanted and had the charisma and wit to persuade just about anyone to follow.

Generous, loving, kind, funny, good natured A second child, and only boy, sandwiched between older sister, Melinda, and younger sisters Lauren and Leah, Shane was an easy child. Doing what was asked of him, and getting himself up for school with no problems, was the norm for Shane. From a young age, Shane loved to doodle and draw, replicating anything he saw.

Pure love, honest, compassionate, intelligent, wise beyond his years. The human experience fascinated Blaise. He was a people-person, always trying to understand everyone else’s perspective. “Blaise had a gentle spirit, and never judged anyone,” his mother Sandra said. “He saw the good in people, no matter how hard and how deep he had to dig for it.”

Fierce, loving, protective, vibrant, simplistic She stood at only 5’4”, but Tiffany MacGregor wasn’t the type to be lost in a crowd. Don’t let her height fool you. She was larger-than-life–a bold personality with looks to match. She fiercely protected others, especially an underdog, and knew the side comments and silly faces to induce laughter.

Charming, loving, funny, loyal, hopeful At 6’4’, blond, blue eyed Andrew had an illuminating presence. Unbothered by things most people find troubling, “you could never be around Andrew and not laugh,” his mother, Gwendolyn said. “Often he would say the most random things so seriously and not get why you were looking at him with a confused yet amused look.”

A son’s love, forever lost. A people person, Andrew had an undeniable presence. With an easy smile, sense of humor, and an intuitive awareness of those around him, he made people feel seen and valued. Whether at work, among friends, or with family, Andrew drew others in with his warmth and charisma. He was known for his thoughtfulness, and ability to connect with others from all walks of life.

Very intelligent, Christian, caregiver, jokester Dan was unique and true to himself, nurturing his diverse interests and hobbies. He was engaged in a constant pursuit of learning. From crafting stained glass to welding, carpentry, and learning the guitar, Dan’s curiosity was insatiable. He planned to explore woodworking and computers next, ever eager to expand his skills and learning.

Generous, loving, curious, hopeful, animal-lover When Sarah was younger, she got a thrill from midnight donut runs with friends and had a great fondness for the ocean. One special night, she enjoyed both. Sarah’s mother, Liz, took Sarah, her sister Megan, and some friends to grab donuts and watch the sunrise at the beach. They stayed in the car until the sun shone above the horizon. When it did, they settled into the sand with some sheets they brought and prepared to take in the view.
